Athletic Training
The Athletic Training Room, located in the Cain, Carlson, Miller (Physical Education) Gymnasium, is open daily starting during 6th period through 3:20pm. In order to be treated by the Oviedo High School Athletic Training Staff, the injury must have occurred through participation with an Oviedo High School Athletic team. Concussion Policy
All Oviedo High School student-athletes will take a Baseline IMPACT test with the Oviedo High School Athletic Training Staff at the start of their sport season. If an athlete is suspected of having a concussion, the student-athlete should communicate with their coach and see the Oviedo High School Athletic Trainers immediately. The athlete may only return to play following a concussion after taking the IMPACT test, following the four-day return-to-play protocol, and obtaining clearance by a physician.
